Nathan Hines

It's Friday again everybody and I know we say this a lot but this week's first show Friday is super exciting! This week we talk to the legendary Nathan Hines, better well known as the one and only, Keith Doom.

“First show I ever played was September 19th 2014 at the polish village hall in Whitney Pier! We named the band a week before as a placeholder and never changed it, we also only had one original song fully done so we made up some songs to fill a set, we just wanted to start playing. It was a really cool experience for me to finally play a show after attending since my early teen years. It was a sloppy set and the crowd was small and that to me was a drive to get better and better until people actually wanted to come see us.”

There's many ways to describe Keith Doom and The Wrecking Crew, but we think the best word might be influential. Watching Keith Doom and the Wrecking Crew play instantly made you want to be either up on the stage or out in a mosh pit. If they were playing, you instantly knew it was going to be a good show

“Eight years have passed since that first show and I wouldn't change a single thing that happened on the way, I have met so many amazing people all around the world and have gotten so many cool opportunities all thanks to music. I have left the punk sound behind (for now) in favor of playing loud as hell Rock N’ Rollwith my band Conductor and so far that's just been amazing! Looking forward to non stop rock as per usual so stay tuned!”

It was great talking to Doom this week! If you haven't had the chance to see him in Conductor yet you're missing out big time! You can catch them tonight at Daniels and make sure you keep your eyes peeled for some more conductor shows coming very soon 👀
